I’m extremely excited to announce that SSR014 is the metalcore masterpiece To Whisper in Tongues by Rifles At Recess. This is the first Tribunal release (yes first😏) I’m pressing and I couldn’t think of a more perfect one to start with. Early 2000’s metalcore was in a league of its own and Rifles were at the forefront of the genera.

Hailing from Tennessee, Rifles honed in that perfect east coast sound that was so prevalent at the time. The album opens up with one of the most iconic guitar sweeps from the period that just sets the perfect tone for what’s to come. The next 40 minutes is the most picture perfect metalcore you could find. Perfectly harmonized guitars that can go from absolutely shredding riffs to a breakdown that will put you on your ass. Drum and bass that help highlight the guitar work while setting the pace for everything. Robby’s powerful lyrics and vocals just bring everything to a perfect harmony. Listen now on our bandcamp.
