Originally out in 2010, The Frozen Path somehow found its way on my iPod and I quickly found myself bragging about it to anyone who was willing to listen. The guitar work on this record is absolutely phenomenal. Technical yet moody riffs, ambient leads and that iconic black metal tremolo picking fill the 17 minute runtime. The drums are relentless and the cymbal work specifically is a huge stand out for me. The emotional vocal style and lyricism are the perfect cherry on top of this incredible ep.
