It’s been tough to keep this one under wraps for so long but SSR018 is Never Good Enough For You by the iconic Killwhitneydead.

One of the most unique bands from the days of MySpace, you knew a Killwhitneydead song when you heard it. The music had everything you wanted from that era perfectly packed in. Absolutely crushing breakdowns, thrash riffs, ripping solos and Matt’s vocals and lyrics were the glue that held it all together. Not to mention all those iconic samples sprinkled in to keep things interesting. Killwhitneydead sounded like nobody and nobody sounded like Killwhitneydead. 

Living in NC, I was lucky enough to catch them play a few times back in the day and kwd shows were always a good time. The energy they brought in those tiny venues would make for some of the best shows I’ve been to even today. This might sound weird, but you just felt like you were witnessing something special while watching. Listen now on our bandcamp!

This one pays its respect to the original while having its own take on the themes of the record. Once the heart idea came into play I knew I wanted to turn it into a die cut jacket. This is a special release so I did some due diligence to bring it to life. The hole in the center will peak through to reveal the heart on the printed innersleeve.
